Entrusted by MIIT, CAAM held the review meeting of two subjects in Beijing on Mar. 26th, 2013. They were Research on the Influences of the Implementation of Driving and Purchasing Limitations in Large Cities on Automotive Industry and Research on the Influences of the Process of Industrialization and Urbanization in China on Automotive Industry. These two subjects were significant ones, which were jointly entrusted by MIIT, Ministry of Finance and SASAC.
The review meeting was hosted by the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Li Jingsheng. Some experts from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, SAE-China and Development Research Center of the State Council attended this meeting.

For the subject of Research on the Influences of the Implementation of Driving and Purchasing Limitations in Large Cities on Automotive Industry, the experts thought that it sorted out the status and analyzed the implementing reasons as well as the responsibilities of automotive industry. Besides, the subject analyzed the possibility and prospection of implementing purchasing limitation in thirty-two large cities. Meanwhile, some relevant suggestions had been given.
As for the subject of Research on the Influences of the Process of Industrialization and Urbanization in China on Automotive Industry, the experts thought that it had been studied in a right way with the characteristics of clear ideas and prominent key points. This subject offered some targeted and operable suggestions on such problems and difficulties that may exist in the process of industrialization and urbanization in automotive industry.
