To unify understanding, clear development ideas, integrate industrial resources, carry out joint actions and push forward information transformation and upgrading, CAAM held transformation and upgrading meeting of Chinese automotive information service industry in Beijing on April 26th, 2013.

Nearly 200 representatives attended this meeting, including Academician Mr. Sun Jiadong (outstanding scientist of atomic and hydrogen bombs and man-made satellite, Chief Designer of Beidou Navigation System, State Science and Technology Top Awards winner), Academician Mr. Shen Rongjun (former Vice Director of State Commission of Science and Technology for National Defense Industry, consultant of Chinese Manned Space Program and Lunar Exploration Program), Mr. Chen Wei (Chief of Department of Software Services of MIIT), Mr. Dong Yang (Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM) as well as some major domestic auto manufacturers.

On behalf of the organizer, Mr. Dong Yang gave a welcome speech. In his speech, he briefly introduced the development of Chinese automotive industry and also explained the active role of transformation and upgrading in helping Chinese automotive industry become bigger and stronger.

Entrusted by Mr. Dong Yang, Mr. Ye Shengji, on behalf of CAAM, delivered a keynote report entitled “Seize Opportunities and Make Innovations to Push Forward the Transformation and Upgrading of Chinese Automotive Information Service Industry”. The report analyzed development background, explained its strategic meaning, discussed basic ideas, cleared fundamental goals as well as gave advices for recent major works.
