2013 China Automobiles T10 Summit was held in Jiangsu from June 28th to July 1st. The summit was jointly hosted by the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang, the President of JAC Mr. An Jin and the President of Chery Mr. Yin Tongyao. Mr. Wan Gang, the Vice Chairman of CPPCC and the Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Mr. Miao Wei, the Minister of MIIT, attended this summit and delivered important speeches.

On the meeting, Mr. Dong Yang introduced the development of the automotive industry at this stage as well as Development Strategy of Building China into an Auto Power (Draft). Ms. Xu Yanhua reported some key points of the pre-researching report on “China Automobiles Power Battery Institute”.

Leaders of T10 enterprises, such as the General Manager of FAW Mr. Xu Xianping, the General Manager of DFM Mr. Zhu Fushou, the President of SAIC Mr. Hu Maoyuan, the President of CCAG Mr. Xu Liuping, the General Manager of GAIG Mr. Zeng Qinghong, the President of Brilliance Auto Mr. Qi Yumin, the President of JAC Mr. An Jin, the President of Chery Mr. Yin Tongyao, etc. made deep discusses on issues concerning the strategic targets, tasks and measures of building China into an auto power as well as business orientation, technical routes and constructing plan of the power Battery Institute. They also raised some advices and suggestions.
        Besides, some leaders of MIIT and the Ministry of Science and Technology as well as the leaders of CAAM also participated in this summit, including Mr. Zheng Lixin, Chief of Department of Industry Policy, Mr. Zhang Xiangmu, Chief of Equipment Department, Mr. Qian Minghua, Division Chief, Mr. Feng Changhui, Inspector of General Office and Vice Director, Mr. Qu Guochun, Vice Director, Mr. Peng Ruifeng, Vice Division Chief, Mr. Chen Jiachang, Deputy Chief of Department of High and New Technology Development and Industrialization, Mr. Wu Ping, Division Chief, Mr. Li Honggang, Vice Division Chief, and the Deputy Secretaries General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji, Mr. Shi Jianhua, Ms. Liu Xiaomiao, Mr. Li Wanli, Mr. Li Jingsheng, Mr. Yao Jie and Mr. Dong Jianping.
