On August 30th, 2013, the Branches Working Meeting of CAAM was held in Jinzhou New Area, Dalian. There were approximately 60 participants attending this meeting, including presidents, secretaries general of each branch and their representatives as well as some relevant department directors of the Secretariat.

Mr. Ye Shengji delivered the working report of branches on behalf of CAAM
On the meeting, Mr. Ye Shengji delivered the working report of branches on behalf of CAAM. He mainly elaborated the content from five aspects, namely the development of Chinese automotive industry, the key work of the Secretariat, the status and development of branches, the improvements of the work of branches and the requirements to their works.
In the report, Mr. Ye Shengji briefly analyzed the development trends of the automotive industry, introduced the key work and its implementation of the Secretariat in 2013 as well as affirmed those branches’ achievements from the perspectives of standardized operation, secretariat construction, serving members, industrial basic works, industrial discipline, standard construction and organization development. Meanwhile, he analyzed the existing problems and deficiencies of each branch. In the context of institutional reform and function transformation of the State Council, the industrial development trends and the requirements of building auto society, Mr. Ye Shengji stressed that CAAM will be commitment to the sustainable development of Chinese automotive industry, building China into an auto power, establishing a harmonious auto society as well as strengthening self-construction with the principle of serving members, government and society to make the industry, the members, the government and the society satisfied. Besides, he raised some requirements and suggestions on their next work.
In addition, combining actual conditions, the related directors made presentations respectively. Four branches shared their work experiences with other members. They were Engine Branch, Special Purpose Vehicle Branch, Wheel Committee and Automotive Air Conditioning Committee.

In conclusion, on behalf of CAAM, Mr. Ye Shengji expressed his thanks to each secretary general for their strong supports on industrial work and work done by the Secretariat, as well as his profound respects for their long-time hard workings at the frontline.
