On Aug. 28th, 2013, the International Trade Coordination Committee of CAAM held its first-half-year working meeting in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Nearly 40 participants attended this meeting, including more than 30 major domestic automobile and auto parts manufacturers and several secretaries general from affiliated branches of CAAM. The meeting was jointly hosted by the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Shi Jianhua and the Director of Trade Coordination Department Mr. Xu Haidong.

First of all, on behalf of the Secretariat of International Trade Coordination Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Coordination Committee), Mr. Xu Haidong summarized the main work of the first half year of 2013.

The Secretariat of the Coordination Committee also delivered a report of “Analysis on Import and Export Trade of Chinese Automotive Industry at the first half year of 2013” (hereinafter referred to as the Report). The Report gave a comprehensive analysis on import and export of Chinese automotive products in the first half year, and made a prospect of the second half. Due to its detailed contents, the Report was highly affirmed by all the representatives.
