Organized by the wheel committee of CAAM, the Seminar on Auto Wheel and 3C Certification (China Compulsory Certification) was held in Baoding on Oct. 15th, 2013. This seminar was co-organized by Baoding Lizhong Wheel Co., Ltd. More than 30 participants attended this meeting, including leaders of wheel enterprises, experts of CCAP (China Certification Center for Automotive Products) and consultants of the wheel committee. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji was invited and made a summary.

The Secretary of Wheel Committee Mr. Wang Xiushan reviewed the preliminary works and introduced the background and objectives of this seminar. Then, Mr. Xia Yuezhang from Wanfeng Auto introduced the background and content of the proposal posed by their President Chen Ailian as well as offered some suggestions. Besides, the directors of CCAP Mr. Gong Jinlong and Mr. Wang Chengkuan respectively introduced issues on compulsory certification of auto parts and preliminary works of wheel certification.
        All the participants carried out hot discusses based on their own situations. They had reached an agreement on auto wheel and 3C certification. That was at present, it was improper for the auto wheel products to be listed into 3C catalogue. The sound and stable development of auto wheel industry as well as the guarantee and improvement of product’s quality need joint efforts of the whole industry, especially those key enterprises.

After the meeting, the participants visited the assembly line, R&D center and laboratories of Lizhong Wheel. Then, they shared their opinions and provided some improvement suggestions for Lizhong.
