On October 25th, 2013, the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Dong Yang and the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Shi Jianhua went to Croatia to attend OICA General Assembly and Round Table.

OICA General Assembly

The Round Table had three panels, which were influences of regional policies on auto investment, market situation and forecast of each country as well as urban mobility and automatic drive. On behalf of CAAM, Mr. Dong Yang introduced the major macro policies in Chinese automotive industry and some incentive measures on energy-saving and new energy vehicles. Later, he reported the sales and production of Chinese automobiles as well as made forecasts. In addition, the representatives from Alliance, VDA and JAMA respectively introduced technologies on automatic drive and connected cars. They also made a prospect on future auto society.

OICA Round Table

 As a Vice Chairman unit and permanent member, CAAM attended all the major activities organized by OICA in recent years. Moreover, on behalf of Chinese auotmotive industry, CAAM made several cooperation with those international organizations as well as built communicating mechanisms with them in the fields of data exchange, bilateral trade policies and standards and regulations.
        The Manager of International Cooperation Department Mr. Zhang Lin accompanied to attend this meeting.
