On November 4th, 2013, the Deputy Secretary General Mr. Shi Jianhua met with the Director of Investment Bureau of Gyeonggi-do Government Mr. Ha Seoung Jin and his party. As the only government-affiliated agency engaging in foreign trade and investment promotion, the staff from Kotra also accompanied to visit CAAM.

Mr. Ha Seoung Jin firstly introduced the basic situation of Gyeonggi-do. Then, he expressed the strong will to carry our cooperation with CAAM and Chinese automotive enterprises, especially Chinese auto parts enterprises. He said that those major auto manufacturers in Korea were willing to expand supply chain. Therefore, he hoped some excellent Chinese auto parts enterprises would invest in Gyeonggi-do to realize a win-win result.
        Mr. Shi Jianhua suggested that both sides could regard the up-coming Auto Parts Annual Meeting as a cooperation opportunity to build exchange platforms for Chinese and Korean auto enterprises. In addition, he wished that the two sides could strengthen communications to jointly promote the development of the auto industry.
