Meeting Site
Power battery was the key factor for the development of new energy vehicles. Therefore, those major auto manufacturing countries in the world all attached great importance to auto power battery to promote cross-industry and interdisciplinary research and development. As a result, the battery technologies of such countries achieved rapid progress. However, in China, the development of power battery was rather passive, just following the steps of some Japanese and Korean enterprises. We had a big gap on key material, manufacturing and battery system. Inadequate research, dispersed resource and lack of innovation all restrained the further development of new energy vehicles. Facing this situation, Guojia Auto Power Battery Institute was born.
Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang hosted the meeting
