On June 14th, 2014, the two-day TPS activity was held in Guangzhou, marking the first round TPS activities came to a successful conclusion.
More than 40 representatives from 18 auto manufacturers and auto parts enterprises attended this activity. Besides, the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Li Jingsheng and the Vice General Manager of Toyota Boshoku China Mr. Zhuang Zhiqiang also participated in.
The 18 enterprises were (listed in no particular order) Wal Fuel Systems (Hefei), Brilliance Auto, Shenyang Jinbei, Beiqi Foton, Foton Daimler, SINOTRUK, SINOTRUK Jinan Axle & Transmission, Shandong XinDaYang Electric Vehicles, Dare Wheel, Hefei Hengxin Automotive Engine Component, Zhejiang Huajiang Science & Technology, Sailing Mould & Plastic, SUNVO, Jiangsu Zhenshida Automobile Moulds, Chengdu Ningliang, Zhejiang Yinlun, Zibo Yonghua and Shandong Yonghua.

On the morning of June 13th, the representatives visited Foshan Toyota Boshoku to learn TPS.
The representatives thought Foshan Toyota Boshoku always kept on improving, especially in the aspects of employee training, quality assurance, safety management, material utilization, product transition and 5S management. Such improvements ensured its leading position in efficiency, cost and quality.

On that afternoon, the representatives visited Guangzhou Yingtai, which was one of the TPS model plants within Toyota Boshoku Group.

In the end of the meeting, Mr. Li Jingsheng made a summary. He firstly thanked Toyota Boshoku China for their strong support. Then he emphasized the enterprises should possess crisis awareness and make improvements through management reform.
The second round TPS activities would start soon, including on-site guidance, touring guidance, training and so on. The ultimate goal was to improve the competitiveness of the management level.We welcomed enterprises to participate in.
