On July 9th to 18th, 2014, CAAM organized a delegation to Germany, Poland and Great Britain to investigate European auto parts remanufacturing. The delegation was led by the Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji. The other delegates were Technology Department of CAAM Mr. Yu Guang, CAAM Auto Parts Remanufacturing Branch Mr. Xie Jianjun, FURUISE Mr. Yin Jingsong, Shangchai Engine Mr. Yuan Guowei, Shanghai Xin Fumei Mr. Mao Kairong, Lingang Remanufacturing Mr. Tian Futai and Duxes Shanghai Mr. Zhu Zhiqi. Besides, Mr. Yao Xin, Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of NDRC, was also participated in to guide the delegation. They carried out communication with APRA Europe Branch, Polish Academy of Sciences, Shropshire and Trafford Government and FER on issues of auto parts remanufacturing.

Through this investigation and communication, the delegation had a better understanding on European advanced remanufacturing management, technology and system. Given that Chinese remanufacturing industry was in a very beginning period and eager for making breakthroughs, we should learn from Europe to correctly understand advanced technical concepts, which was very important to Chinese remanufacturing industry.
