CAAM Enterprises Management Committee Held 2014 Annual Meeting

On Oct. 15th, CAAM Enterprises Management Committee held 2014 Annual Meeting in Hefei. The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Li Jingsheng attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Over 30 representative from 20 auto manufacturers and parts suppliers participated in, of which the Council Units included FAW, BAIC, SINOTRUK, Geely, Qingling, Toyota Boshoku (China) and Guangxi Yuchai. Other enterprises were (listed in no particular order): Beijing Automotive Powertrain, Beijing Beinei Engine, Beijing Shunhengda, Shandong Xinya Industry Stock, Linyi Monbow, Taizhou SAILING Mould & Plastic, Jinhua Hefa Science & Technology and Hefei Hengxin Automotive Engine Component Manufacturing.

Themed with “Management, Efficiency and Competitiveness”, the meeting discussed current challenges faced by Chinese OEMs and suppliers and problems to be solved in three aspects: lean improvement, energy conservation and cloud manufacturing.
        Mr. Li Jingsheng summarized the situation of lean improvement and introduced future activities.

Besides, the meeting also invited some experts to do keynote speeches concerning the abovementioned three aspects. They were Director of Sino-Germany Renewable Energy Collaborating Center Mr. Tao Guangyuan, Senior Engineer of CASIC Beijing Simulation Center Mr. Liu Yang and Deputy General Manager of Toyota Boshoku (China) Mr. Zhuang Zhiqiang.
 

The representatives carried out hot discussions combined with those wonderful speeches, self management problems and future works of the Committee. They fully affirmed TPS—Lean Improvement Activities launched by CAAM Enterprises Management Committee and invited the expert group to their enterprises to make on-site guidance. Furthermore, they hoped to strengthen and deepen communications through this platform.
 

On the afternoon, the representatives visited Hefei Wal Fuel Systems.
