To summarize experience systematically, explore development path, enhance transformation and upgrading, build parts industry bigger and stronger and support auto power construction, CAAM held 2014 China Auto Parts Industry Annual Conference and China Auto Parts Development Summit Forum (hereinafter referred to as the annual conference)in Ezhou, Hubei province on Dec. 16th to 17th. More than 400 representatives attended this conference, including domestic major OEMs and auto parts manufacturers, some foreign parts enterprises in China, related industrial associations, CAAM branches, auto parts manufacturing bases and media.
Themed with “Strategy and Cooperation----Build China Auto Parts Industry Bigger and Stronger”, the annual conference was composed of main conference, special seminar and local economic fair.
On the morning of Dec. 16th, the main conference was held and hosted by the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang. The Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Ezhou Mr. Ye Xianlin delivered a speech.

The Deputy Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji delivered the report which coincided with the theme of the annual conference. In his report, Mr. Ye Shengji introduced the current situation of automotive industry, analyzed the challenges faced by parts enterprises, posed development framework, strategies and basic tasks, summarized recent works and put forward future plans and suggestions.
