On Dec. 15th, the launching meeting of CAAM Local Association Working Committee was held in Ezhou. The representatives of main local automotive associations, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Hubei and Changchun as well as staff of CAAM Member Services Department attended the meeting.
The leaders of CAAM also participated in. They were the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Dong Yang and several secretaries general Mr. Ye Shengji, Mr. Shi Jianhua and Ms. Liu Xiaomiao. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Ye Shengji.
Mr. Dong Yang delivered a speech
On the meeting, Mr. Dong Yang firstly explained the objective, meaning and function to establish Local Association Working Committee. Then he introduced the great opportunities faced by the industrial associations, which was brought by Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Some Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening the Reform. He hoped local automotive associations could catch the opportunity and work together to promote the healthy development of the automotive industry.
The meeting approved rules and composition of the Working Committee. Besides, the representatives discussed and reached agreements on issues concerning job duties and next step works.
It was agreed on the meeting that local automotive associations were main strength to manage automotive industry. The Working Committee, as an important communication platform, would play an active role in building the automotive industry bigger and stronger.
Mr. Ye Shengji hosted the meeting and made a summary
At the end, Mr. Ye Shengji made a summary. He pointed out that to better serving automotive industry, the joint efforts of CAAM and local associations were necessity. Hence, the Working Committee would work hard to fully play the connecting role between CAAM and local automotive associations. He also stressed that the Working Committee would explore the service direction under new situation and would organize related enterprises to research industrial hot issues in its future works, so as to provide reference on policies and regulations implementation and industrial planning.
