To actively promote the implementation of the national strategy of "One Belt and One Road", to speed up the pace of going abroad for Chinese automotive enterprises, to better understand the problems confronted in the process of internationalization, and to sum up the experience and lessons on overseas development, the Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang, accompanied by the Deputy Secretaries General Mr. Shi JianHua and Mr. Li Wanli as well as the Director of Trade Coordination Department Mr. Xu Haidong, investigated SGMW on Aug. 12th to 13th.
The Managing Director of SGMW Mr. Shen Yang, the Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager Mr. Yao Zuoping, and the Deputy General Manager Mr. Yuan Zhijun, as well as other leaders from planning, technology and production departments joined in to this investigation.
Both sides mainly exchanged views on the difficulties and problems of Chinese auto enterprises had faced in the overseas development, as well as discussed the key problems to be solved for the country and the industrial associations in the implementation of the national strategy of "One Belt and One Road".
Based on this investigation, CAAM would summarize the successful experiences of SGMW as soon as possible, and form the relevant policy and industrial development suggestions to put forward concrete proposals to the government, combining with the implementation of the national strategy of "One Belt and One Road".
