On Mar. 16th, CAAM held the Seventh Session of the 7th Standing Council Meeting in Beijing. 80 representatives attended the meeting, including chairman, vice chairmen and standing council units. The leaders of the secretariat and other related representatives also participated in. The representative of Chairman Unit of the 7th Council Mr. Xu Xianping, General Manager of FAW, hosted the meeting.

The representatives heard of the Working Report of the 7th Council (Review Draft) and the Membership Fee Report of the 7th Council (Review Draft) informed by the Executive Vice Chairman of CAAM Mr. Dong Yang as well as the Guidelines for the Development of CAAM (2016-2020) informed by the Secretary General of CAAM Mr. Wu Shaoming.

Besides, the Deputy Secretaries General of CAAM Mr. Ye Shengji, Mr. Shi Jianhua and Mr. Yao Jie introduced the related proposals to be reviewed on the First Session of the 8th Member’s Representative Assembly respectively.

The meeting reviewed and approved the agenda of the First Session of the 8th Member’s Representative Assembly and Council Enlarged Meeting as well as a series of proposals and documents to be submitted to the Assembly.
