On July 26, CAAM Local Associations Working Committee meeting was held in Changchun. The leaders from CAAM, including the Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Wu Shaoming, the Secretary General Assistant Mr. Huo Yumin and the Director of General Management Department & Member Services Department Ms. Li Guixin, attended the meeting.

Co-organized by Changchun automotive association, the meeting was strongly supported by the local government. The Deputy Mayor of Changchun Mr. Bai Xugui, the Chief and Deputy Chief of Bureau of Industry and Information Technology Mr. Li Weibin and Mr. Jiang Xutong as well as chief of local automotive associations in different provinces and regions attended the meeting.

Mr. Wu Shaoming delivered a speech and communicated with representatives on issues concerning industrial transformation & upgrading, Made in China 2025, the development of local associations after “unhook”, the next steps and how to play the roles of association.

Deputy Mayor Bai Xugui delivered a speech. He firstly welcomed all the representatives, then introduced the industrial development of Changchun.

Mr. Li Jibao, Chairman of Changchun Automotive Association & Jilin Universal Machinery, delivered keynote speech on “Auto Industrial Transformation & Upgrading to Realize Made in China 2025”

On the meeting, the representatives shared their advanced experiences acquired in actual works. They also discussed problems occurred and possible solutions during “unhook”. Besides, proposals on next steps were put forward.
　　Mr. Wu Shaoming made the summary. He fully affirmed the achievements achieved by the local associations and stressed that they were peer-relation with CAAM. He wished the local associations could set up communicating platform for more mutual exchanges, so as to jointly push forward the rapid and healthy development of automotive industry.

The meeting also determined that Hubei Automotive Association would be the next chairman on duty. After meeting, the representatives visited Jilin Universal Machinery.
